Our bags are packed, passports and tickets are at the ready and nearly all farewells have been made as we prepare to leave Northern Ireland for Cambodia tomorrow. We cannot believe how fast our time went in and although we are looking forward to reunions with our Khmer & international friends in Phnom Penh we will miss our friends and family. We cannot thank everyone enough for the love, encouragement and support we have experienced during our first missionary term and are excited for what God has in store next.
We appreciate the kindness and hospitality shown to us in the past number of weeks. It has been wonderful to spend time with loved ones and catch up in person rather than via skype or email, although we are thankful for these modes of communication.
We will blog again on Saturday morning (and weekly again from then on) and will include photographs and special memories from our visit at home but for now we ask you to remember us in your prayers as we travel back to Cambodia. Our journey takes us from Belfast City – Heathrow – Singapore – Phnom Penh. God willing we will arrive in Phnom Penh at 10.30 am (GMT) on Wednesday.
